More Rolling

Well I've been rolling from my belly to my back for awhile now but today I added the other direction to the mix. Mommy laid me on my back on my play mat while she did a few things around the house and when she walked by the living room I was on my belly! That means I'm rolling both belly to back and now back to belly! What a big girl I'm getting to be! What will be next??

Snow!!

Today was a pretty nice day out so Mom and Dad took me out to check out the snow for the first time. I couldn't do much but I didn't mind feeling a little of it on my face.

I also got to see my buddy, Jackson M.

Cereal and A New Trick

A couple weeks ago (The same day I tried out the exersaucer) I got to try out baby cereal for the first time. I didn't do too bad for my first time but now I'm almost a pro and I really like to eat it. Here are some pictures of my first try.

"What am I supposed to do with that?"

"Ugh, what is this stuff?"

"Let me do it!"

"That stuff was pretty good."

"What? I have something on my face?"

My new trick I started doing yesterday is blowing raspberries. Daddy was feeding me my cereal last night and I started doing it then. He didn't think that was to funny and a rather inconvenient time to start such a trick. :)

Trying out the Exersaucer

Today Mom and Dad got the exersaucer for me to try. I liked it. They both think I'm going o have a lot of fun in there when I get the hang of it all.

Happy Birthday, Marlie

We celebrated our puppy Marlie's birthday on Friday. It was my first time celebrating her birthday. She sure had fun on her birthday. She got a special treat and some presents from us. Mom, Dad and Cohen got cake too. Next year I bet I'll get to have some cake with them. I can't wait for that. :)

Little UNI Panther Fan

I got all dressed up to watch the UNI Panthers on TV last weekend. Of course Mom had to take pictures.

Valentine Pics

Mommy took some pictures of me for Valentine's Day. Here are a few.

Four Months Old

I am four months old today! I have my four month check up tomorrow where I'll get weighed and measured so I'll update that stuff tomorrow. For today I'll tell you what I'm up to now.

Sleeping - I'm still a good sleeper but I'm not real consistent. I usually go to bed sometime between 8:30 - 9:30 p.m. and wake between 6-7. Sometimes I wake around 5:00 but I eat and go back to sleep, same if I wake around 6:00. If I sleep until 7:00 or after then I'm up for the day.

I nap about every other hour. I sleep about an hour, awake for an hour - repeat that all day long except I do take a long nap in the afternoon. That's the one when my belly is full, the lights are off and my fan is on. Then I sleep for about 2 hours.

I'm starting to eat a little bit more at a time and less often. I eat anywhere from 3-6 ounces at a time but most of the time I eat 4 ounces. I have a 6 ounce bottle when I first wake up, then about 4 or 5 bottles throughout the day and a 5 or 6 ounce bottle right before bed. Now that I'm four months old I'll be able to try some rice or oatmeal cereal. I'm kind of excited about that. I'll be sure to have Mom and Dad take pictures to post and share with you how it goes.

I still am only rolling belly to back but I'm getting closer to rolling the other direction. I told you about a few of my accomplishments of grabbing toys and using my voice more and more.

I love to watch Cohen play and do just about anything. He and Marlie can both keep me entertained for quite some time.

Mom said I'll get to try out some new toys this week - the excersaucer and jumperoo. They sound like fun and Mom and Dad think I'm really going to like them. Again - I'll have them take pictures so I can share the fun with you.

I'm a very content and happy baby. I like to swing in my baby swing or lay under my play mat and kick and grab at the toys hanging down. I wake up happy and smiley and Mom and Dad can just lay me in my bed awake most of the time and I will soothe myself to sleep - sucking my thumb of course. Once in awhile I require them to snuggle me a little before I'm ready to settle in and neither one of us it mind it a bit. :)

I do like to snuggle. I like to lay on Mom or Dad's chest with a blanket over me. They love to snuggle me too.

I am going to admit I'm a bit of a daddy's girl. I can't help but smile when I see him and love when he holds me. Mom calls him my "hero" because he pretty much does whatever I want him to when I want him too.

**UPDATE** I had my appointment this morning. I weighed 12 lbs 1 oz (9th percentile), was 24 3/4" long (61st percentile), and my head is 40 cm (31st percentile). I got 2 shots and one oral vaccine. I wasn't too pleased about the two pokes. I really wasn't impressed with my Dr. checking me over either. I was trying to hold it together by just sticking my pouty lip out but I eventually broke and turned on the water works.

Me and my favorite brother two days shy of 4 months old.

My baby doll I got for Christmas from Grandpa and Grandma Cota.

I love this snuggly bunny I got from Uncle Brent and Aunt Kari for my baptism.

Another snuggly doll I got from Granny for Christmas.

My very own monkey I got from Mom and Dad for Christmas.
Now Cohen and I both have a monkey.

Talking Away and Reaching

This past week I started "talking" even more. Friday morning when Mom got me up for the day I just started jabbering more than ever. I love to coo and jabber and I think Mom and Dad love to listen to me. :)

I also started trying to reach and grab for things. When I lay on my play mat there is a toy I can reach. Sometimes I hold onto it and sometimes I just push it. I also try to grab the toys on my swing.
