All About Me

It's been a long time since I've done a summary that tells all about me so I though I'd do that, now that I'm two.

Well....one thing I hear a lot is, "you're funny". So I guess I'm funny. I have a little smirk I make that always makes Mommy and Daddy smile. I am a  TALKER! I have been for a long time and once I started I didn't stop. I love to talk and I repeat myself until I'm acknowledged so don't think ignoring me will work. It won't.

I love to sing and dance. I like to have Mommy or Daddy play music on the tv for m and dance. One of my favorite songs is "Counting Stars" by One Republic. I call it "Alligator" because there is an alligator in the video. I am starting to learn the words too.

I can name several songs just by hearing them. Some of them include, "All of Me", "Boom Clap", "Bang Bang", "All of Me", "Let It Go", "Dark Horse", "Don't Care" (I Really Don't Care). I also can sing other songs that Mommy sings to me before bed..."Baa Baa Black Sheep", Twinkle, Twinkle", "Rock-A-Bye Baby" and ABCs.

Because I love music so much Mommy signed me up for Kindermusik so I've been going to that for about a month now. I have a lot of fun at "Mumic Class".

I have some funny things I say, only because I've heard them and quickly caught onto how to use them. Some of them include, "oh my gosh", "Oh my goodness gracious", "I'm so tired", or when ever someone yawns I ask, "You tired?", or if they cough...if Mommy coughs I ask, "Ok, Mommy?" I say "bless you" when someone sneezes...there's so many it's hard to remember them all. I'll try to do better about posting them when I say them because I have to agree with Mom and Dad, I am pretty funny.

I'm also sassy, I know what I want and most of the time how to tell you exactly what I want. I give my opinion on what I eat and what I wear, and how things are done.

As far as my day to day, I usually wake around 7:00-7:30 in the morning, when Cohen is getting ready for school. For breakfast I like to eat "chocat bread" but I don't get to have that everyday. But it is what I would choose everyday if I could.

Now that Cohen is in school I have lunch around 11:00 - 11:30 and when I'm done I say, "time for nap?" I've caught on to our routine. I'm in my bed by noon for my nap so I can be awake by 2:15 for us to leave at 2:25-2:30 to get Cohen from school.

Bedtime is usually between 7:30-8:00. Before bed I like to read a few books with Mom or Dad and have them sing me a few songs.

Some of my favorite foods are Nutella "chocat bread", mac and cheese, pizza, broccoli, peas, green beans, grapes, blue berries, apple sauce and cheese, chips, pretzels and french fries. I also love Lara bars - but only the cookie dough ones.

Whenever we are in the car and pull up to a store I say, "I need a cawt (cart)". Mommy always lets me know if we'll be getting a cart or not but I always want one.

I love to play outside in the sand and sand water (sand/water table) and to swing on Aiden's swing on their play set. I have a swing at my house too but I prefer Aiden's for some reason.

I also love to play with my babies, pretend to feed them, rock them, sing to them and change their diapers. I also like to push them around in my doll stroller. I take good care of them. :)

My favorite tv show is Bubble Guppies and my favorite movie is Frozen. Every time I get sat in my chair at the table I say, "I need buppy guppies". Dad thinks we need to have a talk about needs and wants.

I enjoy having a piece of paper and markers or a pen to draw or write. I like to play with my dolls and Little People toys. I like to dress up and play with super heroes but I also like to dress up and play with princess toys. I'm just at that age where I like most everything. I'm in between trying to be a big kid like Cohen but still Mommy and Daddy's baby.

I suppose it's fair to say I have a bit of an attitude. I might be a little, or a lot dramatic but what can I say? I'm a girl.

I'm a pretty smart little girl though. I can count up to 13 all by myself. I can identify most all letters...at least 24 of the 26 uppercase letters and I can identify the numbers 1 - 9. I also can sing my ABCs for the most part. I kind of mumble through a few spots but do pretty well. I also sing "Baa Baa Black Sheep", "Twinkle, Twinkle", and "Rock a Bye Baby".  I know some of my colors, red, blue, green, yellow, orange, black, brown, purple and pink. I am starting to learn shapes. I know circle, triangle and square...most of the time. I still working on them but I'm getting them.

At my 2 year check up with my Dr. I weighed 20.2 lbs which didn't put me on the growth chart. I was

Mom and Dad say I'm a fun, silly, sweet, spunky, crazy little girl. I like to laugh make people laugh. I think being two is going to be a lot of fun!

Happy 2nd Birthday to Me!

My gift from Mommy and Daddy.
I turned two on Friday! Mommy, Daddy and Cohen did their best to make my birthday special.  When I got up Cohen was already at school but Mommy and Daddy gave me part of my gift from them and had some balloons for me.

They gave me a doll I have been looking at Target for several weeks and a high chair for my dolls.

Mommy and I had some shopping to do to get ready for my birthday party the next day. She got me a Frozen balloon and a cookie. :)

Mommy and I spent the rest of the say at home. Mommy did one of my favorite things with me, which was to play outside. Then it was lunch and nap time.

Mom and I went to pick Cohen up at school and as soon as he climbed in the car he started singing "Happy Birthday" to me, which was very sweet.

Cohen and I with the gift he gave me.
After Daddy got home from work we played, had dinner and they gave me a few more gifts. Cohen even got me a gift all by himself. Mom had taken him shopping and she said he took his time going up and down the aisles at the store looking for the perfect gift for me. Then all on his own he chose a Cinderella Lego Duplo set for me.

I loved it! He helped put it together for me and I had fun playing with it.

Saturday was my party with family. I had a Bubble Guppies party and Grandpa and Grandma Cota, Granny, Grandma Dahlstrom, (Grandpa had been training and had plans to run a marathon that day so he wasn't able to come), Uncle Brent, Aunt Kari, Reese and Flynn  all came to celebrate with me.

I had a fun day with everyone and having cake.

I didn't want to open my presents. I was a little nervous about it, maybe the ripping of the paper, but anytime Mom and Dad tried to get me to open a gift I would say, "I can't!" So Cohen, Reese and Marlie helped open them. Marlie loves to open gifts so she loved it.

It was a great day with family and I had such a fun birthday!

My new baby I named, "Molly".

My cake Mom ordered for me.

and cookies too....

Saturday night Mom and Dad invited our neighbors over. Holtans weren't able to come due to prior plans but Reznicows came to celebrate with me. I had a fund time trying to keep up to the big kids and playing with my buddy, Aiden.

Aiden and I were dressed in batman gear so we had to get a picture.

I reached out to hold his hand...

but he didn't really like it. :)

Tumble Down the Stairs

Last Sunday I was heading to the basement with Cohen to play. I got down the first set of steps, and started down the next set. Cohen was standing at the bottom of them talking to Daddy who was upstairs. No one knows what happened but all of a sudden I was rolling down the stairs.

I screamed right away and Daddy ran down to get me. Cohen showed Daddy how high up I was when I fell, which was about 5 steps up.

It was right before nap time so Mom and Dad were a little worried but they let me nap and kept a close watch on me.

I woke earlier than I normally would have and woke crying, which I never do. Mommy knew that wasn't right. When I got up Mommy thought I didn't look like I felt well and my eye had swollen some.

Daddy was trying to get me to eat or drink and I didn't want to. A short time later I threw up. Mommy was asking Daddy if they should take me to the ER. Mommy did some reading and from what Daddy already knew they agreed to watch me closely at home for awhile.

After I threw up I was completely fine. I was eating, talking, playing, singing and acting normal.

Thankfully I didn't get hurt worse. I did get a bit of a black eye but it could have been much worse.

Fancy Shoes

I love accessories and shoes. I am always trying on everyones shoes and wearing them around the house.

One day I got in Mommy's closet and found these fancy shoes. I had to try them out of course.

"Hop On"

Daddy holds me like this a lot and I love it! He and Mommy say I'm like a little monkey on a branch. Daddy says "hop on" and I jump up and wrap my little legs right around his arm.

Weekend in Harpers

September 19-20
We spent a weekend in Harpers visiting family and friends. Mom and Dad went to watch Brogan play football. I stayed with Granny and Cohen stayed with Grandpa and Grandma Cota. The next day we got up and visited Great Grandpa and Grandma C's house but Grandma wasn't home so we just played and visited Great Grandpa.

Me, Cohen and Hudson
After that we went and had lunch with a friend, Jami and her little boy Hudson. From there we went to visit Great Grandma D. It was our first visit to her new place since she moved off the farm. Cohen and I both love her cat CeeCee. We had fun with her and playing with her toys. I liked her stuffed animals.

After that we went back to Granny's and made a trip to the park before we went back to Great Grandpa and Grandma C's house to visit Grandma.

From there we packed up and headed to Great Grandpa and Grandma J's house to visit them and then headed back home. It was a full but fun couple of days.

Cottage Cheese

Mommy has given me cottage cheese several times with my lunch but I never eat it. One day she was scooping some out for herself and I asked for "that". The container was almost empty so she gave the whole thing to me and I emptied it.

It tastes much better right out of the container than it does on a plate. :)

Snow White

This is the dress I wore at Disneyland when I was 5 months old. I saw it in my closet and insisted I put it on. "I Snow White" I told Mommy.

New Sandbox

Over the summer Mommy and Daddy planned a for a new sandbox for Cohen and I. Daddy worked on clearing dirt out from under our deck to make it flatter and built a retaining wall.

Grandpa C. built us a sandbox and Mom and Dad hauled the sand in. It turned out great and we love playing in it. Our neighbor friends like playing in it too.

So Sleepy

When Cohen started back to school in August it was a bit of an adjustment for Mom and I to get my nap time moved up early enough that I could get a good nap in and still be up in time for us to pick Cohen up when school let out.

It took us a few weeks to get it down and there were several days where Mom had to wake me up so we could get to school on time.

I was so comfy, snoozing away with all my stuffed animals.

Cohen and I on his first day of 1st grade.

Hulk......SMASH!

Cohen loves superheroes and I love Cohen so I tend to copy him - therefore I like Superheroes. He dresses up as different heroes a lot and I pretend to be Hulk. Daddy taught me to say "Hulk smash" and hit the floor. When Mom saw that someone was selling a Hulk costume that was just my size she couldn't resist and I'm glad she couldn't. I love it. The first time I wore it I had so much fun being Hulk.

Me and My Buddy Aiden

We're playing catch up - AGAIN!

September 12 - Aiden came over to play so Mom had to get the camera out.
