Cohen's Preschool Graduation

On Wednesday I went with Mom and Dad to Cohen's preschool graduation. He and his school friends sang songs and I loved to sit and watch them.

I really love my Puggle, Marlie. Now that I'm crawling I can get to her anytime I want. :)

Crawling?

Well not officially full out crawling but I am getting it figured out. I take a few strides on my hands and knees then either sit up, lay down or put my one foot up on the floor and propel myself forward one big push.  I can get where I want to go and I know I'll get faster very soon!

UPDATE: Well after I posted this I actually did start officially crawling on Sunday, May 19 and have been on the go since. :)

Snack Time

I'm getting better at getting the puffs to my mouth all by myself.  I'm also figuring out how this sippy cup works. I'll get it all figured out with a little practice.

Reese's 2nd Birthday Party

Yesterday we went to Reese's house to celebrate her second birthday. She had a Minnie Mouse party so I wore my Minnie dress I got for Disneyland. She had such a fun party and she had a surprise special guest....Minnie Mouse! It was so exciting. I even got to get my picture taken with Minnie too!

I think Reese had a really great party. I know I had fun.

Cyclone Tailgate Tour

Tonight I went to my first Cyclone Tailgate Tour in CR. It was pretty fun. I got to see a lot of coaches and met Cy for the first time. I've heard a lot about him but have never met him until tonight.

Apparently I was also a hit at the event. When we first got there a couple saw me in my Iowa State headband and skirt and were talking to Mom about how cute I was, asking where she got my headband and  then asked Mom if they could take my picture to send to their daughter because they have a granddaughter who is 9 months old. Mom thought they seemed nice enough so she said yet. She thought that was kind of funny but didn't think a whole lot of it. Well it wasn't too much longer a young girl came over and said she loved my skirt and headband and asked if she could take my picture. Mom saw this girl's Mom standing off to the side and was watching. Mom told her that was fine she could take my picture. Ok...so two pictures? A little more time passed and we were waiting in line to get our picture taken with Cy and another lady commented on how cute my skirt was and asked Dad if she could take my picture....THREE!?!

Mom took me over to check out the stuff they were handing out at the event and another gal asked Mom if she took my picture for ISU Markering. FOUR! Four people asked to take my picture in the hour we were at this event. Mom and Dad thought that was pretty funny. I was a popular girl. :)

Seven Months Old

I turned seven months old last week. Mom thought the past month went by really fast. It was a big month for me as I learned how to sit up, got two teeth and started eating baby food.

Recently I started practicing with a sippy cup. I'm not a big fan of it yet but I am getting better at drinking from it - however I don't like to hold it myself.

I'm not quite crawling yet but I'm working really hard at it. Don't be surprised if I post about that soon. I am even trying to stand up on my own. I'm a bit more optimistic about that than what I'm really capable of but hey it's good to dream big, right?

I am obsessed with Marlie. I love when she lays by me and I like to sit and talk to her. She's pretty good to let me touch her.

I got to try a couple little snacks for the first time - puffs and yogurt melts. I like them both. I like the puffs but I LOVE the yogurt melts. They keep me busy too. I work really, really hard and picking them up and getting them to my mouth all myself.

Not much more to report this month. I love to jabber and talk - really loud. Mom and Dad are always commenting on how loud I am. Hey I have a lot to say. :)

I love to eat baby food. I love watching Cohen play and listen to him talk to me.

Fun With My Neighbors

Today I got to hang out with our neighbor friends, Melissa, Joey and Anna while Mom took Cohen to his check up. I had fun with them.  They thought it was funny when I'd grab their toes.
